Art at cafe 42nd Street

I am a local artist and I wanted to show my art in 42nd Street as part of the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) exhibition in 2014. SALA is in August every year when over 4000 SA artists show their work in hundreds of venues. The artists and venues are published in a magazine.

To test audience reaction in 42nd Street the exhibition began in April 2014. The support was overwhelming, staff and patrons liked the new look and so the exhibition (with some changes) continued through August. After SALA, the art had become “part of the furniture” of 42nd Street and so it continues with a new piece inserted every 3 to 4 weeks. In the images below, the first 15 or so are currently on show.

Several new pieces will be introduced for SALA 2015.

I am a member of the (local) Off The Couch Art Studio, Port Adelaide Community Arts, The Royal South Australian Society of Arts. I participate in approximately ten exhibitions a year.

Please contact me if your have any questions about my art.
